Not too long ago, Xiaomi started selling the Redmi Note phablet in India, which as usual sold out in a few seconds. The Chinese company usually sells one product at a time through flash sales but it seems things may change.
Recently, the company announced they are going to sell the Xiaomi Redmi 1S once again on December 8th. Surprisingly, the sale is open to all those users who are interested in purchasing the handset — you don’t have to pre-register.
Previously, users interested in getting hold of the handset had to register a few days before the sale, but it’s open for all this time, and while the stock lasts. At the moment, there’s no word about the number of Xiaomi Redmi 1S units which will go on sale on December 8th, The company will also hold a Redmi Note sale the next day, but users have to pre-register for that.
The handset costs Rs 5,999 and features a 4.7-inch display with a 720p resolution. The processing comes from a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot of up to 128GB. Other features include an 8MP camera for photos and videos, a 1.6MP front-facing camera, a 2,000 mAh battery and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as its operating system.
