Last month, Xiaomi unveiled their latest Mi Max 2 smartphone, but the handset was only limited to China at launch. However, it seems customers in Malaysia can now purchase the handset.
A local Malaysia retailer DirectD has listed the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 64GB variant on its website carrying a price tag of RM 1,499 (almost $350). Only gold color option is available at the moment.
The handset comes with a massive 6.44-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution with the processing handled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Other features includes 12MP main camera for photos and videos, a 5MP front-facing camera, rear fingerprint sensor, IR blaster and ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its operating system. The handset also features a massive 5,300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, capable of charging 68 percent in an hour.
