If you are already using the super easy to set up and very affordable Wyze $20 security cameras you may be interested to know that the company has partners with Seattle-based startup Xnor.ai to implement an artificial intelligent people detection system on the small security cameras with the Wyze Cam V2 and the Wyze Cam Pan cameras supporting the new features.
This week Wyze has added the integral feature to its product lineup, using the power of the artificial intelligence software provided by Xnor.ai. The new technology is now capable of identifying people through the video feed of its existing cameras thanks to an over-the-air firmware update.
“With Person Detection you can control the types of push notifications you receive. Go to your camera’s settings to only get notified when a person is detected. View the playback of this event or pull up the livestream to greet visitors.”
