World of Warcraft gamers that also enjoyed taking selfie photographs in the real world, are sure to be pleased to know that a new WoW selfie camera will be making its way into the World of Warcraft game.
The new WoW S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera has been unveiled in the latest 6.1 patch that is currently in the WoW public test realms and provides the ability for players to take selfie shots in game.
The WoW selfie camera will be available after completing a 100 mission called Field Photography, with a 100% chance of success, and not a rare. The new camera has been added by Blizzard to help take even more original screenshots within WoW and now include yourself in the action.
Once the first mission has been completed WoW players can also upgrade the camera by completing the “Lens Some Hands” Mission that provides a S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera Mk. II upgrade, offering three filters that in the form of sketch, black and white and death.
“When S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera is clicked on, it opens a special camera mode. Your character makes faces at the camera, just like an IRL selfie, with their arm extending off the screen. There are two buttons: Take Selfie: This captures your screen–perfect to send to Twitter once that’s integrated into WoW in 6.1! and Cancel Selfie Camera to Exit Selfie mode.”
