If you are looking for a quick and convenient way to add Android support to your HDTV, together with the added benefit of a web camera you can use with the screen, Wise TiVi might be a solution.
A new Wise TiVi device is available in three different versions as either a set-top box, a portable device or with an integrated web camera, which all provides Android support for your HD TV.
The camera version which we are looking at today simply sets on top of your HDTV and connects via a HDMI port transforming your plain old HDTV into a smart TV running Google’s Android operating system.
All three Wise Tivi models are equipped with a 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 dual core processors (probably Rockchip RK3066), ARM Mali-400 graphics, supported by 1 GB of RAM and offer storage from 4 GB up to 16 GB. Other features of the devices include USB ports, microSD card slot and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.
Wise has prices the devices as follows: $90 WISE TIVI Camera, $80 WISE TIVI Portable and $60 WISE TIVI Box, and will all ship with Google’s latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
