This week the Windows Phone MarketPlace passed the 30,000 app milestone and opened up to accept Mango application submissions from developers. The opening of the MarketPlace doors for application submissions has happened on time and as Microsoft’s Windows Phone Marketplace Senior Director Todd Brix explained it would back in July.
Microsoft is hoping to have new applications submitted processed and ready to added to the MarketPlace within a couple of days. Just in time for the new wave of Mango phones that are expected to launch very soon.
Microsoft is also encouraging game developers to now submit their games to the 19 new Mango markets which now include: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, India, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, and Taiwan.
