It being reported by a growing number of Windows Phone 7 users that their devices are using 3G Data even when connected to Wi-Fi networks.
The report come as more and more customers are complaining that their Microsoft’s mobile OS phones are consuming more 3G data than expected with some consuming up to 2MB of mobile data per hour totalling nearly 1.5GB of extra data being used monthly even while on home Wi-Fi connections.
Hopefully Microsoft will fix these issues in the first big Windows Phone 7 update expected to be released any day now, but if you find your data allowance a little high you can try to reduce it by setting mail accounts to manual update and turning off location services.
Have you noticed any increases on your 3G data usage, while your WP7 phone is connected to your home network?
