If you own a Western Digital storage device, it might be time to update or install the WD photo application on either your iOS or Android device. Western Digital have just announced rolling out a new update to their applications for both IOS and Android enabling users who are always on the go, to easily access photographs stored on the WD TV Live Hub media center or My Book Live network drive.
“The WD TV Live Hub media center already lets users store and play 1 TB of their personal videos, photos and music plus enjoy the best of Internet services including Netflix®, YouTube™, Pandora® and Facebook®, all without a computer,” said Dale Pistilli, vice president of WD branded products. “Now with the new release of WD Photos, the world’s first smartphone-to-HDTV video sharing app, WD TV Live Hub helps users stay in touch with friends and family in high-definition.”
The news applications can be downloaded from both the App Store and Android Market and more information is available from the official press release.
