Today Wacom has announced a new range of Bamboo Tablets its just added to its portfolio of products. The new range has been created to provide designers and visual communicators with methods of sketching and note taking. There are three tablets in the range starting at $80 rising up to $200, called the Connect, Capture, and Create.
At the bottom of the range the Bamboo Connect is a pen-only tablet and ideally suited for digital pen note taking, doodling and white-boarding enabling you to transfer your ideas directly to your Mac or PC instantly.
Wacom explains:

The Bamboo Capture offers pen and multi-touch input in a single device geared to the photo enthusiast or novice designer offering 1024 levels of pressure. The Bamboo Create provides twice the work space of the Bamboo Capture to give you more freedom of movement when making broad pen, pencil or brush strokes on the tablet surface.
The Connect, Capture, and Create Bamboo tablets support both Macs and Windows and are available for $80, $100, and $200 respectively. A wireless Rf moduel is also available for $40.
