Wacom users looking for an even larger display and drawing tablet might be interested in the new Wacom Cintiq 27QHD range, that has been unveiled this week at CES 2015.
The Cintiq 27QHD sports 27 inches of screen as the name suggests, and offers a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels offering 1.07 billion colours to provide “unparalleled clarity and colour sensitivity in creative areas like image editing and 3D animation”, says Wacom.
Wacom has equipped the Cintiq 27QHD with a “pen on paper feel” technology and 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity, together with a new ExpressKey Remote that removes the Express Keys from the tablet offering a wider choice of position depending on your drawing style. Wacom explains :
“The new ExpressKey Remote encourages a faster, more flexible workflow with a Touch Ring that helps you scroll, zoom and rotate with ease. Put it on the screen, beside your keyboard or right in your hand. Spend less time searching for what you need and more time getting lost in your ideas.
Tools might transform, but artistry remains. The Cintiq 27QHD creative pen & touch display sets a new standard in color and resolution. The most natural forms of creative expression meet an advanced interface design that re-imagines the creative workflow so you don’t have to adapt to the tool—the tool adapts to you. Work with hands-on fluidity as you create with a pressure-sensitive pen and multi-touch gestures directly on an expansive edgeless glass display. “
The Wacom Cintiq 27QHD will be available to purchase later this month priced at $2,300 with the Cintiq 27QHD also available later this month price that $2,800. For more information on the new Cintiq 27QHD jump over to the Wacom website for details and full specifications via the link below.
