The new 2018 VW Tiguan is a nice car, but most folks were staying away. VW has decided to get aggressive with the vehicle and instead of offering rebates, it has slashed the MSRP for the car. The cut is significant on some models.
VW is now asking $600 less on a base S model Tiguan. If you opt for the SE, you will save $2,180, and the top-end SEL is $1,460 less. The SEL Premium doesn’t see a price cut. With the new price, the 2018 Tiguan is still more expensive for starters than the Base versions of the competition.
Starting price is now $25,495 for a base Tiguan. VW is offering some massive rebates in some areas, to the tune of thousands off some vehicles. Base FWD Tiguans do come with a 3rd-row seat. That 3rd row is optional for all-wheel-drive versions.
