Smart watches are expected to be the next big thing this year, Apple are rumored to be launching the iWatch, a number of other companies are working on other devices, and now VTech has launched a new smartwatch for kids.
The VTech smartwatch is designed for children ages between 6 and 12 years old, the company already sells tablets, and it will be part of their Kidizoom range.
This new VTech smartwatch comes with a number of features including a camera which can record videos, a voice recorder with ‘funny voice effects and three educational games.
The device features a 1.4 inch color touchscreen display, it will feature a USB port for charging and also downloading photos and videos to your computer.
The VTech smartwatch will come with a choice of 20 different watch faces, and it is designed to help children tell the time and comes with analog and digital modes.
The company has announced that the VTech smartwatch will go on sale in August and it will retail for £39.99 in the UK, which is around $65 US dollars.
