Verizon is ready to pay your switching costs and offer up to $650 if you’re willing to ditch your old carrier and make a move to the Big Red.
This is not the first time we’ve seen a carrier pay the switching costs. So, whether you’re in the middle of the contract or paying monthly payments to your carrier, Verizon has you covered if you’re willing to make a switch.
To avail the offer, all you have to do is port your number from your old carrier to Verizon, get a new 4G LTE smartphone and trade-in your current device — it should be a in a working condition. Once you’re done with the initial steps, you’ll be sent a box so that you can send in your old smartphone, but make sure you have all the details such as your final bill with the carrier, order number from Verizon and trade-in details.
Once everything is in order, the Big Red will send you a prepaid gift card which can take a few weeks, and can be used to clear your old balance. Furthermore, the carrier is also offering 2GB of extra data provided your device is active on the XL or XXL plan.
