Verizon customers who are still thinking about getting their hands on the new Moto X, there’s some good news for them. The Big Red has reduced the price of the new Moto X to $49.99 tied to a two-year contract.
Now might be a good time to get the Moto X, but there’s just one small catch here: the discount is only valid until Monday, October 20th so you need to act fast.
The $50 discount is not available for the off-contract Moto X, it still comes with a $499.99 price tag, even the Pure Edition is still priced the same. Additionally, you’ll have to pay the $25 extra if you go for a premium leather or wood backs.
As a recap, the new Moto X comes with an excellent set of specifications. There’s a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and 16/32GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, the handset doesn’t come with expandable memory which may be a disappointing news for some users.
Furthermore, there’s a 13MP camera on board with optical image stabilizations, 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,300 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system out of the box.
Act fast if you want to available the $50 discount, and have no problem signing up a two-year contract with the Big Red.
