Back in March Valve announced that they would be brining their popular Steam gaming platform to the Apple Mac. Steam is probably the most popular gaming platform on PCs, with games like TF2 and Counter Strike.
Vavle has now announced that the Steam platform will be available on the Apple Mac from the 12th of May 2010, and it will include some of the popular games on the PC platform like Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and the Half-Life.
Valve has also confirmed that they will be launching all new games on both the PC and Mac platforms, and if you have purchased a particular game on one platform you will be able to download it for free on the other platform.
To run Steam on your Mac you will need an Intel Mac running Snow Leopard.
