If your in the market for a very unique looking watch then the Urwerk UR-110 watch is definitely worth a look and has many unique feature to keep you happy.
The layout of the watch face has been designed to allow you to take a sneaky look at the time at the edge of your cuff, by positioning the time on the right hand side of the watch. In the picture below you can see the time is showing as 8.20.
The case of the UR-110 is constructed from titanium and in the bottom left of the watch face is a small dial indicated with a flash of red, called the ‘oil gauge’ that indicates when the watch is due for a service.
The cogs and mechanics are best explained by its creators:
The UR-110 indicates time by means of a revolving satellite complication on planetary gears featuring three parallel hour/minute modules resembling torpedoes.
No information has been released as yet to the watches retail price, but you can bet it isn’t going to cheap.
