Radar Watch

A new watch inspired by cold-war era military equipment has launched via Kickstarter this week aptly named the Radar, which is fitted with a watch face pattern that can be changed by a simple press of a button offering over 200,000 display pattern combinations. Watch the video below to learn more about the Radar Watch which is available to back from €59 with delivery expected to take place during April 2018. The designers of radar based in Austria explain more about the inspiration behind the unique watch face.

Radars are commonly used in the military for detecting the presence, direction, distance, and speed of aircraft, ships, and other objects.  This gives the watch a rugged and retro look that suits both men and women. Its Scandinavian design is reflected in its simplicity and clean lines, while the Swiss engineering is made apparent through the quality of the watch.  Radar Watch has an e-paper display, which aims to replicate the look of military-radars with the use of 60 display segments.  If you would like to change the pattern on the watch-face simply press the red button and change it.

Three versions of the Radar watcher available :

– Radar Brass combines a rose gold case with a navy blue strap. This colour combination is sure to make your Radar Watch the focal point of your outfit.

– Radar Black with its gunmetal black case and military beige strap best represents the design inspiration for this watch, which is military equipment.

– Radar Steel is the most subtle model of the Radar Watch range. Its steel coloured case and metal grey strap make it the perfect accessory for any outfit.

Visit Kickstarter via the link below for more details and to be one of the very first to own the unique Radar watch.
