India recently launched their first government subsidized Android tablet, a device which retailed for around $55, and now there is a new one on the way called the Ubislate 7 and the device is expected to retail for around $57.
The Ubislate 7 will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and feature a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, processing will be provided by a 700MHz Cortex A8 processor.
Other specifications include a 3200 mAh battery with a battery life of around three hours, HD video playback. 256MB of RAm, 2GB of built in storage plus a microSD card slot.
The Ubislate 7 is apparently available to pre-order in India at the moment, and it should launch shortly.
