We are not expecting to see the new Samsung Galaxy S9 until next year, although now we have some details about Samsung’s next flagship.
According to a recent report, there will be two versions of the new Galaxy S9, which really does not come as a surprise as there are two versions of the Galaxy S8.
The guys over at Sammobile have discovered to model numbers for the handset G960FXXU0AQI5 and G965FXXU0AQI5. The Sm-G960 model number will apparently be for the new Galaxy S9 and the SM-G955 for the Galaxy S9 Plus handset.
Whilst the development of the firmware for the new Samsung Galaxy S9 has already started, the new handsets are not expected to be released until next year.
A previous rumor suggested that the new Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus smartphones will feature similar displays to the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. We can expect the handsets to get a number of upgrades, including new processors, more RAM and new cameras.
As soon as we get some details about the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus, including some specifications on the handsets, we will let you guys know.
