Lenovo has this week announced its added to the new Lenovo Yoga tablets to its range of Android tablets with the addition of a new 8 inch and 10 inch Lenovo Yoga tablet priced at $249 and $299 respectively.
Both of the new Lenovo Yoga Android tablets are powered by a 1.2 GHz MediaTek MT8125 quad-core processor supported by 1GB of RAM and fitted with screens offering a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The Lenovo Yoga tablets are also equipped with 16GB of internal storage for app and media and are fitted with microSD card slots for further expansion when required.
The 8 inch Lenovo Yoga tablet features a 600mAh battery and measures 8.4 x 5.7 x 0.29 inches weighing 14 ounces. The Lenovo Yoga 10 inch model is fitted with a 9000mAH battery and measures 10.3 x 7.1 x 0.32 inches weighing 1.3 pounds.
Lenovo has included a small kickstand within the design of the Yoga tablet that allows you stand your Android tablet for viewing when required unless you tilt your tablet from 110 to 135 degrees. Unlike other kickstands Lenovo has designed theirs to be small and unobtrusive and provide additional grip when holding the tablet with one hand.
Lenovo has also created a new Bluetooth Yoga keyboard Which has been specifically designed for the new 10 inch Android Yoga tablet to provide users with a physical keyboard for typing out longer documents if preferred.
The new Lenovo Yoga 8 inch tablet is now available from Best Buy for $249, with the 10 inch Android tablet rolling out to a wider variety of retailers and available for $299. The new keyboard case is available as an optional extra for $69.
