Samsung has announced the launch of three new speakers in its Samsung Wireless Audio range, the R5, R3, and R1, which the company will be showcasing at IFA next month.
The Samsung R5, R3, and R1 speakers come with a new multi-room app and also physical controls.
Enhanced Features and Design
The R5, R3, and R1 models follow the widely praised R7 and R6 speakers in Samsung’s Wireless Audio 360 line-up. These new models offer the same high-quality, balanced sound, and premium table-top design that enables them to fit seamlessly into any home. The new multi-room app allows users to control their music easily from their smartphones or tablets, providing a more integrated and user-friendly experience.
“With these additional models we are bringing a new kind of high-quality sound to the market, with a design that is simple, yet premium, and offers a more intuitive user interface,” said Jurack Chae, Senior Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “The R5, R3, and R1 will help cement Samsung’s position as a world leader in home audio.”

The new speakers are equipped with Samsung’s proprietary Ring Radiator technology, which disperses sound evenly in all directions, ensuring that every corner of the room receives the same audio quality. This technology has been a significant selling point for the R7 and R6 models and continues to be a highlight in the R5, R3, and R1.
In addition to the advanced sound technology, the physical controls on the speakers have been designed to be more intuitive. Users can easily play, pause, and skip tracks directly from the speaker, making it convenient to manage their music without needing to reach for their device.
