At the Mobile World Congress 2014, Motorola did shed some light on the upcoming products the company plans to launch. The company did mention they will launch the Moto X successor later this year.
And now, we know what it will be known as, thanks to @evleaks. The notorious one tweeted out an image saying the upcoming version will be known as Moto X+1 or +X1
He didn’t shed any light on what we can expect from the handset, except the caption which says, “Motorola Moto X + 1: coming soon.” Well, it means the company might be getting ready to announce the sequel of the highly customizable handset. It fits good with the summer launch of the device, similar to the previous Moto X launch.
The leaker didn’t shell out exact launch dates, but it shouldn’t be long before we start seeing leaks about the sequel of the handset. The rumor mill will definitely leak more information about what we could expect from the handset, but it will be interesting to see if Motorola will go for a global launch this time, or US similar to the Moto X, since the company is now acquired by Lenovo.
