The Tesla P85D Model S is already an impressive electric vehicle with a 0 to 60 MPH time of 3.2 seconds, and now Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that the car will become faster with a new software update.
Tesla will be releasing a software update to their Tesla P85D Model S saloon that will bring the 0 to 60 MPH time down by 0.1 seconds to 3.1 seconds.
Tesla P85D 0 to 60mph acceleration will improve by ~0.1 sec soon via over-the-air software update to inverter algorithm

3.1 seconds for 0 to 60 MPH is certainly very impressive for a saloon and even more impressive for an electric vehicle.
