Last week, the consumer version of Samsung’s virtual reality headset, the Gear VR, went up for pre-order in the US through Best Buy and the company’s online store.
However, if you’re interested in picking up the Gear VR from a carrier, T-Mobile is your only option in the US.
The magenta carrier announced they are going start selling the Gear VR headset through its stores later this month for $99. There’s no difference in price so you’re not going to save anything when you purchase it from the carrier, it just adds another retail location.
The handset works with four Samsung handsets: the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5. All these devices are available from the Magenta carrier.
Customers interested in the virtual reality headset will be able to grab it from November 27th from retail locations of the carrier as well as through its website.
