Not too long ago, a report hinted that T-Mobile will release an update for the HTC One M8 soon, and it turns out it’s happening now.
Proud owners of the T-Mobile HTC One M8 would be glad to know that Android 4.4.4 KitKat with HTC’s Eye Experience is rolling out for the handset as we speak.
The Taiwanese manufacturer released the update for the unlocked variant last month, and it seems T-Mobile is the first carrier in the US to roll out the update, introducing HTC’s exclusive camera features which were released with the HTC Desire Eye. The new camera features, including Face Tracking and Screen Share, Split Capture, Face Fusion, and several other exciting ones.
The update is sized over 200MB so make sure you’re on a WiFi connection, especially if you don’t want to choke out your allowed data limit. It should reach you in the coming days, but if it doesn’t arrive, don’t panic since the update can take a few days to reach all devices. Alternatively, you can manually check from the update from the settings.
