Earlier today we heard that Swatch were apparently working on the Apple iWatch with Apple, the news came from a Venture Beat report.
Swatch has now denied that it is working with Apple on the Apple iWatch, the company recently told Bloomberg that it is not working with Apple on any smartwatches.
“Swatch is not working with Apple on smartwatches,” the company said by e-mail. The term generally refers to timepieces that can send and transmit messages, data and phone calls.
Apple are expected to launch their new iWatch some time later this year, the device could possibly land in September along with the new iPhone 6 and iOS 8.
We have heard various rumors about Apple’s smartwatch, the company is said to be working on different versions of the device, one which is a ‘Sport’ model the other a ‘Designer’ model.
Apple’s iOS 8 will feature health an fitness tracking built in, this is something that will apparently feature heavily in both the new iWatch and also the iPhone 6.
The two device are rumored to come with different designs, the sport Apple iWatch is rumored to be more like a fitness band, where as the designer model is said to feature a round display, possibly similar to the new Moto X.
