Microsoft has announced that their Surface Pro 4 and 1TB Surface Book are now available in 10 more countries.
The company is launching the two devices in Australia, Austria, China, France, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Global Expansion of Surface Devices
This expansion marks a significant step for Microsoft as it aims to make its high-end computing devices more accessible to a global audience. The Surface Pro 4 and the 1TB Surface Book have been well-received since their initial launch, and their availability in these new markets is expected to further bolster their popularity. The Surface Pro 4 is known for its versatility, functioning both as a tablet and a laptop, making it ideal for professionals who need a portable yet powerful device. The 1TB Surface Book, on the other hand, is celebrated for its robust performance, particularly among creative professionals who require substantial storage and high processing power.
Ever since Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 launched in October, we’ve loved seeing and hearing from our customers as they discover the power and versatility of Surface. We’re happy to announce that 1TB storage-configurations of both Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book are becoming available in 10 additional markets starting today, with more to follow this summer. In addition to the amazing storage capacity, these are the most powerful Surface models we offer, with 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processors, 16 GB of RAM and, in the case of Surface Book, discrete NVIDIA® GeForce® graphics.
Technical Specifications and Performance
The 1TB Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 are equipped with some of the most advanced hardware available in the market. Both devices feature 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processors, which provide exceptional speed and efficiency. With 16 GB of RAM, these devices are capable of handling multiple applications simultaneously without any lag, making them perfect for multitasking. The Surface Book goes a step further by including discrete NVIDIA® GeForce® graphics, which significantly enhances its capability to handle graphic-intensive tasks such as video editing, 3D modeling, and gaming.
Microsoft has also emphasized the importance of storage in these devices. The 1TB storage capacity ensures that users have ample space for all their files, applications, and media. This is particularly beneficial for professionals who work with large files, such as high-resolution images and videos. The combination of high storage capacity and powerful hardware makes these devices some of the most sought-after in the market.
Microsoft has also said that the 1TB Surface Book is launching in Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands this summer. This further expansion into European markets indicates Microsoft’s commitment to making its premium devices available to a broader audience.
