Super Talent has been offering SSDs and other hardware for the computer market for a long time now. The company has SSDs for consumers and for enterprise storage as well. The latest SSDs to surface from ST are the MasterDrive KX3 family. These SSDs are aimed at the tablet and notebook market.
They all use a 1.8-inch form factor with SATA II connectivity. Despite the small size of the SSDs they still offer nice performance. The SSDs are good for sequential read speeds of 250 MB/s and sequential write speed of 140 MB/s. The family is also available in a version that can operate in an extended temperature range.
The extended temp range is -40C to 85C. The SSDs are all in metal enclosures and come in multiple capacities. The capacities include 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The drives are all available right now, but pricing is unknown.
