A new action camera has launched via Kickstarter this week in the form of the STACAM, an “intelligently stable action camera”. Check out the demonstration video below to learn more about the action camera designed for extreme sports and to offer users “unparalleled stability, fluency and definition” says its creators.
“Instead of the old and cumbersome camera platforms and of the underwhelming stabilization systems of GoPro and other similar cameras, the Stacam is built with a tiny triaxial servo stabilization platform that can record videos and photos with higher stability, definition and fluency. This means that, when compared with conventional EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), Stacam’s triaxial servo stabilization platform can offer you a much higher accuracy and broader scope of image stabilization for your videos when you’re out skating, parkouring, biking, skiing, surfing or diving.”
Early bird pledges are available from £79 offering a massive 60% saving off the recommended retail price, with world wide shipping expected to take place during September 2019.
