Square has this week released a new update for their Square Register iOS app and point-of-sale system, which brings with it a number of new features and tweaks to help small businesses easily accept credit card payments via an iOS device.
Square Register iOS app version 3.0 brings with it features for both iPhone and iPad devices, with the iPhone diversion now able to add items to a sale with a simple tap, and the ability to build your item library for speed at checkout.
The iPad Square Register iOS app now has easier order modifiers, allowing you to simply customise orders at the counter and send them to your kitchen while your line keeps moving, says Square. What the video below to see how the Piada restaurant is using Square Register.
“Piada in Midtown Manhattan serves Italian street food to busy New Yorkers. From taking detailed orders quickly and precisely on their iPad, to sending tickets to the kitchen for preparation, to tracking their sales online, owners Giovanni and Daniele use Square to create their ideal customer experience.”
