Has this week announce the launch of Square Gift Cards, which also now integrates with Apple’s iOS 6 operating system, enabling users of the latest Apple OS to redeem their gift features through Passbook instead of having to use the Square Wallet.
Square explains on their website: “Fun to send. Even more fun to use. Treat your friends to their neighborhood favorites with Square gift cards. Find a place your friends or family will love in Square Wallet. Choose the amount, write a special message, pick a theme and send. Instant gratification. Save your Square gift card to Square Wallet so it’s there when you need it. Using it is as easy as buying with Square Wallet. Simply say your name.”
