Spotify is one of the most popular music streaming services, and now it would appear that the company is about to team up with a major US mobile carrier, Sprint, to launch a new music and mobile phone bundle.
According to a recent report by Billboard, the Spotify and Sprint deal will be similar to the one AT&T offers with Beats Music.

Sprint has recently sent out invitations to a press event that will take place on the 29th of April, and this new Spotify and Sprint deal will apparently be announced at this event.
There are no details on exactly how much this new plan will work, although it is expected to include calls, data and texts, as well as music streaming from Spotify.
This could be a big deal for Spotify, as the company Sprint has over 54 million users, which would all be potential customers for Spotify.
Spotify is said to be planning an IPO, this is rumored to take place some time this year, and having Sprint on board as one of their partners would be a good move before the IPO.
As yet there are no details on whether Spotify are in talks with any other mobile carriers, as soon as we get some more details on the Spotify and Sprint deal, we will let you guys know.
