This portable Soulra solar powered speaker system will power your iPhone or iPod continuously for seven hours on a full charge. It weighs in at 4lbs and is 11-3/4″W x 3-1/2″D x 6-1/2″H in size. and its waterproof guards protect it from party splashes and spills.
When the sun is out it draws its power from the solar panel to the 8watt RMS speakers. But there’s no information available on how long it takes to charge the system from empty. However its fitted with a lithium-ion battery which should charge fairly quickly and comes with a remote control unit. Great for summer parties and the power should see you through the short dark nights right into the morning.
