Sony has been quick when it comes to new flagship devices. The company launched the Xperia Z3 almost six months after MWC 2014 where the company announced the Xperia Z2.
The Xperia Z3 is slowly hitting international markets, and rumors about the alleged Xperia Z3x are now popping up, revealing what the device could offer when it launches.
The alleged Xperia Z3x was spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks, revealing some monstrous specifications of the device. As per the benchmarks, the alleged device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 810 SoC with Adreno 430 GPU to handle graphics on the device. There’s 4GB of RAM, and an oversized 6.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
On the software side, it’s apparently running Android 4.4.2, but it could be on a test device, and the final product will probably ship with the Android L.
The details are scarce, and we should take this with a grain of salt. Sony’s is expected to launch the alleged device sometime next year, possibly at the Mobile World Congress 2015. However, there’s no confirmation so we’d suggest our readers to take it as a rumor. We’ll update you as soon as we get any other information.
