Sony announced their Xperia V smartphone a while back, and although the device was supposed to launch in Europe this month, the launch of the handset was delayed slightly.
Sony have now launched the Sony Xperia V in Russia and the device is available SIM free for 24,999 rubles which works out at around $815 US dollars. There are no details as yet on when it will be available in other European countries.
The Sony Xperia V features a 4.3 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, it is powered by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.5Ghz processor and also features an Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
