Sony has announced that the Sony Xperia Tablet Z will get Full-Seg TV support in Japan, this will come in the form of a software update which will be released in August or September.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has One-Seg support with NTT DoCoMo in Japan at the moment, but the addition of the Full-Seg support with bring high definition TV to the Xperia Tablet Z.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, there is also a quad core 1.5GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, and it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Tablet Z comes with an 8.1 megapixel rear facing camera which features Sony’s Exmor R sensor, plus 32GB of built in storage, NFC, LTE, a microSD card slot and the device is also waterproof and dustproof.
