Sony has announced that their latest handheld gaming console will go on sale in Japan on the 17th of December, and it will launch with 26 games and there will be a 3G version with Japan’s NTT DoCoMo network.
Sony has also said that they have another 74 game titles in the works, from developers like Konami with Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy from Square Enix.
The Sony PS Vita will retail in Japan for 24,980 Yen, about $324 for the WiFi only version, and 29,980 Yen, about $390 for the WiFi and 3G version, there are still no details on the exact launch date of the Sony PS Vita for the US and Europe.
