Hardware Built for Everyday Portability

A rechargeable 5000mAh battery allows the device to be used without remaining connected to an external power source during a session. Once charged, Brainlume can be used without being plugged into a power outlet during a session, making it easy to fit into routines at home, at work, or while traveling.
Beyond the 810nm wavelength, Brainlume also publishes a detailed set of hardware specifications for users who like to compare devices before buying. The headset uses six light-delivery modules and lists an irradiance of around 140 mW/cm² at the scalp, a radiant exposure of approximately 168 J/cm², and roughly 1296 J of total delivered energy during a standard 20-minute session. The illuminated area measures about 7.8 cm².
