Both the Nex-5 and Nex-3 feature a 14.2 effective megapixel Exmor™ APS HD CMOS sensor, and Sony’s E-mount lens system which is compatible with DSLR lenses with the use of an optional mount adapter.
The Sony Nex-5 is capable of recording HD video in 1080i, and the Nex-5 is reported to be the world’s smallest and lightest interchangeable lens digital camera, whilst the Nex-3 can record HD video in 720p.
