If you upgraded to Apple OS X Lion and started experiencing problems with your Sonos whole house audio devices you will be pleased to know that Sonos has today released a new update bringing the much needed support for the new Apple OS X Lion operating system.
Before todays new update if you had your music stored on a Mac system running OS X Lion you wouldn’t have been unable to stream your audio through your Sonos gear. The problem apparently existed because Apple changed the protocol used to share iTunes libraries over a network.
If you need to update simply go to the Sonos menu from the Sonos Controller for Mac app, and select “Check for Updates”. iOS Sonos remote apps have also received an update if you use them you had better download the new version of those as well.
