It looks like some owners of the new iPhone XS Max are having problems with the handset when charging the device.
A number of owners of the handset have reported the problem on the Apple forums, where the handset does not charge when plugged in and the screen is off.
The issue has been highlighted in a video by Unbox Therapy which we can see below, this gives us an idea of the exact problem that people are experiencing.
As we can see from the video the iPhone X starts to charge as soon as it is plugged in, so does the iPhone XS. The problem starts when the larger iPhone XS Max is plugged in, although it wakes up and starts charging when the handset is plugged in.
There are also some issue when the device will not wake from sleep until the cable is removed and then plugged back in.
As we can see from the videos there is no consistent error on the iPhone XS Max, there are slightly different charging problems between devices. The issue is probably software related, although Apple has yet to issue any statement on what they are doing about the problem.
If you have had this issue on your iPhone XS Max then please leave a comment and let us know, as soon as we get some details on when the issue will be fixed, we will let you guys know.
