The new Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to come with two processor options, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Samsung’s own new Exynos 8990 processor.
Now according to a recent report, Samsung will have exclusivity on the Snapdragon 820 processor until April 2016, this could explain why Samsung is rumored to launch the handset earlier than normal.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to be available in two different versions, a Galaxy S7 with a 5.2 inch Quad HD display and an S7 Edge with a 5.7 inch curved Quad HD display.
The handset is rumored to come with 4GB of RAM and at least two storage options which a choice of 32GB and 64GB, it is not clear as yet on whether a 128GB model will launch.
The handset will also get updated cameras, the front camera is rumored to come with 8 megapixels and the rear camera will use Samsung’s new BRITECELL sensor, as yet there are no details on how many megapixel this camera will have.
We also heard that Samsung intends to launch a 3D Touch like feature with the Galaxy S7 and there is also the possibility that it will come with an iris scanner, the device is expected to feature Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Samsung are expected to keep the design of the new Galaxy S7 range similar to that of their S6 range, the handset is rumored to be made official some time in January and will apparently go on sale in February.
As soon as we get some more details about the new Galaxy S7 smartphone, including a full list of specifications and also some photos of the handset, we will let you guys know.
