Today Microsoft has announced the rolled out of increased storage space for its SkyDrive Pro cloud storage service which is part of the Office 365 email service offering each SkyDrive Pro customer a massive 25GB of storage up from the previous 7GB.
The default SkyDrive Pro storage space in Office 365 is now 25GB for both new and existing customers and you now receive 25 GB of SkyDrive Pro storage + 25 GB of email storage + 5 GB for each site mailbox you create explains Microsoft. With the possibility of now increasing that even further with SkyDrive Pro storage options available for 50GB and 100GB.
Microsoft also announced that from today they have increased the file upload limit to 2GB per file, as well as enabling versioning to automatically save the last 10 versions of documents stored in SkyDrive Pro libraries, together with increasing “default recycle bin retention” to a handy 90 days.
