Microsoft announced last week that they were writing down the $7.9 billion that they paid for Nokia’s Lumia mobile phone business, the company also announced large jobs cuts within their mobile phone division.
This suggested that Microsoft were scaling back their Microsoft Lumia business and that we would see less devices, although it looks like there are at least six new Microsoft Lumia handsets on the way.
The news comes from Evan Blass, who has mentioned on Twitter that there are 6 new Windows Phone handsets from Microsoft on the way and many could land before the end of the year. These new devices are expected to come with Windows 10.
.@hemanv Well I know of at least six upcoming handsets which would dispute that 😉
