PC users looking to add a little extra connectivity to the desktop may be interested into new monitor stands unveiled by PC components and peripheral manufacturer Sharkoon this week in the form of the Pure and Power. The Power monitor stand is equipped with an integrated wireless charging pad taking up the surface on the top right hand side of the stand. Allowing you to charge your smartphone, wireless mouse or anything else that supports wireless charging technology. With the charging providing a maximum power output of 5 W.
While the Pure monitor stand can be connected to 4 USB devices or for flash drives. A 100cm cable connects the integrated USB hub to a USB 3.0 port on the PC. Having to inconveniently search for available ports on the host computer thus becomes unnecessary.
