
Would-be pirates looking forward to the launch of the highly anticipated Sea of Thieves multiplayer pirate adventure game, that will be launching exclusively on the Xbox One and PC systems in a few months time, and available to play from March 20th, 2018. Will be pleased to know that the Sea of Thieves closed beta has now started as expected allowing those interested at a first taste of the game to check out its gameplay, mechanics and stability.
Sea of Thieves is currently being developed by Rare and will provide gamers with a shared world pirate adventure filled with danger and discovery, all available to view in true 4K Ultra HD resolutions. Making the most of the new and Microsoft’s most powerful console to date the Xbox One X.
Sea of Thieves features cross-platform play between Windows and Xbox One consoles and allows real-world players to travel and explore an open world on their pirate ship, assuming different roles such as captain and crew requiring sails to be hoisted, navigation to be charted and cannons to be loaded. Sea of Thieves will offer quests for gold and loot, enabling upgrades to ships and crew. Although “X” marks the spot, you won’t be the only one racing to the loot and will need to beat other crews, engaging in combat with other players to secure your treasure.
