Samsung just launched their first wearable Android device, the Samsung Galaxy Gear, and now it would appear that Samsung are looking to take on Google Glass with a device which is rumored to be called the Samsung Gear Glass.
The Samsung Gear Glass will be Samsung’s second wearable Android device, there are not many details about the device as yet, although we suspect it will share similar features to Google Glass.
The news comes from Eldar Murtzain, who published the following Tweet about Samsung’s new Gear Glass device.

Samsung developing own version of Google Glass. We will see it (probably) around april-may under Gear Glass brand

As yet there do no seem to be any specifications about Samsung’s new Galaxy Glass device, it will be interesting to see what they come up with and how close the device will be to Google Glass.
We wonder how much Samsung will be selling the device for, Google Glass currently retails for $1500 and is only available to developers.
If Samsung can come up with a decent alternative to Google Glass, that is reasonably priced, then they could end up with a popular device.
