Yesterday we saw the Samsung HMX-U10 HD camcorder, today Samsung has unveiled two new budget HD camcorders, the Samsung SMX-K40 and SMX-K45.
Both of these new models are capable of recording HD video in 720 x 480 resolution and have a 65 x intelli-zoom optical lens (x52 optical zoom), and a 2.7 inch LCD screen.
On top of that there is optical image stabilization, and a built in feature which makes it easy to upload video to YouTube and other video sharing websites.
The main difference between the two models is the storage, the Samsung SMX-K45 comes with a 32GB solid state drive built in and it will retail for $499, whilst the SMX-K40 comes with an SD or SDHC card slot and no built in storage, this version retails for $329.99.
