Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 was recently banned for sale in the US, and Samsung had appealed the decision in an attempt to have the ban lifted, but the court has now ruled and it is not good news for Samsung.
Judge Lucy Koh has denied Samsung’s motion to have the ban on their Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet lifted in the US, and the device will remain banned until the trial goes ahead between Apple and Samsung.
The judge also banned another of Samsung’s products last week, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and Samsung are currently appealing this ban, although it looks like this device could share the same fate as the Galaxy Tab 10.1, they released the following statement.
“Samsung is disappointed with the court’s decision that denied our motion to stay. We believe today’s ruling will ultimately reduce the availability of superior technological features to consumers in the United States.”
This really isn’t good news for Samsung and they will have to wait until later this month to find out the fate of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the US.
