Earlier in the week we heard that Apple had won its case against Samsung in the US, and that Judge Lucy Koh had decided to ban the sale of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the US.
In order to enforce the ban of the tablet, Apple was asked by the court to post a bond of $2.6 million US dollars, and now Apple has posted the bond, the bond is designed to protect Samsung should their appeal be successful.
Samsung has also filed a motion with the court to stay the enforcement of the ban until after Samsung has appealed the ruling on the ban, the outcome of which has yet to be decided.
